As a Java Developer (m/f/d), your role is crucial in crafting web applications, cloud services, information systems, and databases tailored for the realm of internal security and German emergency services. Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in Java (version 17 and beyond) to architect and implement robust solutions that meet the exacting standards of security and reliability required for emergency services.
• Leverage Spring and Spring Boot frameworks to streamline the development process, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to industry best practices.
• Spearhead the establishment and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Gitlab CI and Jenkins , facilitating seamless integration, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Harness the power of Gradle and Maven to automate build processes, enhancing efficiency and consistency across development environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Cloud Foundry , employing cloud – native principles to design and deploy scalable and resilient cloud services tailored for mission-critical applications.
• Implement and maintain , REST , and SOAP -based APIs , ensuring interoperability and efficient communication between disparate systems and services.
• Contribute to the design and optimization of databases, leveraging your expertise to ensure data integrity, security, and performance meet the stringent requirements of security-critical applications.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Ideally you have a degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or comparable training
• Solid proficiency in Java (version 17 and above)
• Extensive experience with Spring and Spring Boot
• Ideally knowledge of modern frontend frameworks, e.g: React , Angular , Vue .
• Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI , Jenkins , or similar tools
• Experience in build automation using Gradle or Maven
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Foundry or other cloud platforms, with a strong understanding of cloud-native principles and practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of , REST , and SOAP
• Design, optimization, and maintenance of databases to meet the stringent requirements of security-critical applications.
