Freelance DevSecOps Consultant

1 Year + Freelance DevSecOps Consultant – Fully Remote (Germany) – Immediate Start

I am hiring a DevSecOps Consultant on behalf of an exciting consultancy working closely with their clients to integrate security standards seamlessly into the creation of applications and services. They specialize in cloud security, risk assessment, Public Key Infrastructure, and consulting on secure software development lifecycles.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Offering expert advice and assistance to help clients attain compliance.
2. Analyzing and resolving client security issues by uncovering root causes and recommending effective solutions.
3. Collaborating closely with clients to thoroughly understand their security needs, developing tailored solutions that align with their specific requirements.
4. Implementing and maintaining security products and protocols.
5. Documenting security risks, outlining remediation plans, and preparing reports to aid in risk management decisions.
6. Managing client and partner relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving new business through established contacts.

Essential:

1. Relevant degree e.g. IT Security, Computer Science.
2. At least 3 years relevant professional experience.
3. Strong understanding of security infrastructure and cloud technologies.
4. Experience with Hashicorp Vault.
5. CI/CD experience.
6. Strong interpersonal skills.
7. Strong written and verbal skills in English and German (B2 German minimum).
