Optimus Search is excited to partner with an innovative SaaS company that has been on the market for over 40 years. The company has grown internationally, employs over 900 people, and now boasts an impressive Kununu rating of 4.5! Our client has acquired a new product to diversify their successful portfolio in the market. They are now searching for an experienced Head of Software Development to play a key role in leading the agile teams, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution, and driving continuous improvements in the development process.
Tasks as Head of Software Development:
- Lead and manage the software development team, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and career development.
- Define and implement the software development strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure best practices are followed, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including Product Management and QA, to define product requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in C#.NET and the software development field.
Requirements for Head of Software Development position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior software development role, ideally with experience managing or leading a team.
- Strong expertise in C#.NET including ASP.NET and .NET Core .
- Experience with cloud platforms and Microservice Architectures .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
