Softing is a successful, independent provider of hardware and software for industrial automation and automotive electronics. SoftingRom has been founded early in 2005 as an R&D center of Softing AG Munich, with offices both in Cluj-Napoca and Miercurea-Ciuc. Softing Industrial is the expert for implementing and improving digital exchange processes in industrial applications - on the field level and between production and IT. In this dawning age of Industry 4.0 and the "Industrial Internet of Things" (IoT), efficient and reliable digital communication is the prerequisite for the integrated production of the future, which will involve networked systems across different sites and a continuous need to optimize equipment and production processes.

Main responsibilities
You will join a team of strong software engineers that lead full cycle development of middleware solutions which are enabling I4.0 for a wide range of industries we serve. This includes highly reliable and scalable communication services which connect enterprise's IT and OT (Operational Technology) areas, cloud with on-premise systems. You will be part of devising the new generation of hybrid distributed solutions (on premise/cloud) for communication networks, health check monitoring and diagnostics.
On this position you will be responsible for the design and development of the front-end side of the software web applications, from prototyping the UI to achieve a functional and professional look and feel, successfully combining a multitude of technologies and programming languages with a can-do attitude in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills/experience
- Website content styling and design
- Front-end programming (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS)
- Experience using JavaScript libraries (e.g. jQuery, React, Angular, Vue)
- Package managers
- Team-based version control systems (GIT, Gitlab)
- Containers and modern distributes application deployment
- Advanced level of English (both reading and writing)
- Good communication skills
