Follow legislation, evaluate parliamentary debates, prepare discussions with members of parliament, organize dialogue forums - the field of activity of a public affairs consultant is very diverse! A deep feeling for political processes, communicative skills when setting topics and the ability to evaluate and classify political processes are part of the requirement profile.

To support our team, we are now looking for a working student in the field of public affairs for 10-20 hours/week, starting August 15th, 2023 (alternatively September 1st), initially for a limited period of six months (with the option of an extension).
Your tasks:
- Monitoring of legislation and relevant developments at federal, state and municipal level, especially in the areas of energy and climate policy
- Creation of environment and stakeholder analyzes in the area of infrastructure
- Stakeholder mapping and analysis
- Topic research and preparation of briefings
- If necessary, participation in political events and conferences
- If you are interested, support in designing our social media activities
Your profile:
- Studies in politics, society, law, communication or social sciences
- First relevant professional experience, for example in the Bundestag or state parliament office, association, agency, foundation or editorial office in the context of internships or part-time jobs is desirable
- Great interest in complex issues in the above-mentioned policy areas as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and areas of responsibility
- Analytical skills and a high degree of independence, self-motivation and organizational talent
- Confident use of MS Office
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe InDesign desirable
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
