Senior Embedded Developer - IoT - (m / f / d)

Optimus Search is working with an innovative IoT company that\’s making significant strides in the energy sector. Their latest product helps customers reduce heating energy consumption in both new builds and existing properties, supporting net-zero goals.

They are now seeking a Senior Embedded Developer to join their team. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, they work with the latest technologies, offering the opportunity to work with modern cloud solutions and contribute to impactful projects.

Your Role

1. Drive firmware development for IoT products, taking ownership of specific components and functions.
2. Design innovative, durable solutions and implement them independently to help shape a standout market product.
3. Collaborate closely with embedded, backend, and frontend developers, as well as hardware specialists, to ensure a seamless, integrated product.
4. Define how products interact with communication infrastructure and cloud systems, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.

What You Bring

1. A degree or formal training in a STEM field.
2. Solid experience in professional embedded development, with an understanding of long-term field operation and maintenance.
3. Strong knowledge of IoT development, especially with LoRaWAN.
4. Ability to derive insights from data to improve products.
5. Expertise in microcontroller programming with C/C++, ideally for ARM Cortex-M33 (NXP) or similar platforms.
6. Advanced German skills (B2 or higher) and fluency in English.
