We are proactively inviting qualified candidates to join our talent pool for anticipated Project Management needs (across multiple seniority levels from Project Managers (PM) to Project Directors (PD)). At Alimentiv, we have project management teams in Full‑Service Study Management, Imaging, as well as supporting roles in Corporate Services. At this time, we're primarily seeking those with clinical project management experience at the PM or PD level.

About the Role(s)

Project Manager

  • Act as primary liaison throughout the project life cycle, ensuring client/sponsor expectations are managed; address and resolve queries/issues.
  • Plan and execute all project meetings, assist with site and patient recruitment strategies and materials, and assist with the development of stakeholder training.
  • Provide sponsor/client with project status and update reports.
  • Manage project budget and negotiate changes to study budgets with sponsors.
  • Identify, assign and monitor the completion of interdisciplinary project tasks.
  • Develop or participate in the development of project communications, training, regulatory submissions and audits; select third‑party vendors as required.
  • Define and manage project resource needs, establishing contingency plans for key resources.
  • Initiate improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of work performed on assigned projects.
  • Ensure staff allocated to assigned project adhere to professional standards and SOPs for clinical research.
  • Lead, motivate and coordinate teams; mentor/coach team members as appropriate.
  • Delegate effectively and prioritize own and project team workload.

Project Director

  • In addition to Project Manager responsibilities, establish and maintain high‑quality client relationships throughout the project life cycle, working with client(s) and CPMs to establish delivery expectations, metrics and communication standards.
  • Ensure client remains well informed on project progress, risks, issues and changing needs; address queries promptly within project guidelines.
  • Assist with RFP/bid defense processes when required.
  • Collaborate with CPMs and other specialists to deliver high‑quality projects that meet corporate standards.
  • Review and approve project scope, budget, metrics, tools, recruitment and training requirements with CPMs.
  • Oversee and review project critical paths, providing guidance and feedback to Clinical Project Managers to ensure alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate, assign and monitor resource requirements to ensure all current and upcoming projects are staffed and resourced appropriately.
  • Handle hiring, terminations, performance evaluations, staff training and development activities; provide input to the director during the corporate budget process.

Qualifications (may vary depending on role needs)

  • Project Manager – minimum college diploma/degree and 3‑5 years of relevant experience plus ongoing training; people‑management experience; significant and progressive experience managing global, multi‑centre, investigator‑initiated clinical trials; exceptional communication and time‑management skills.
  • Project Director – minimum seven years of related work experience with ongoing training; minimum three‑year college advanced diploma/degree in a relevant field, preferably in Health Sciences or Clinical Research.

  • Compensation may vary depending on role seniority, geographic location and candidate experience.
  • All full‑time, permanent roles include a base salary, eligibility for performance‑based bonus, and benefits that vary by location but are designed to support employees.
