German-Speaking Customer Service Agent – Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid) in Hamburg

Join an international customer service team in Bucharest. You will support German-speaking customers by phone, email and live chat, solve their issues, and find opportunities to recommend extra products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries by phone, email and live chat in German
• Resolve issues with patience, empathy and a focus on solutions
• Identify and act on cross-selling and upselling opportunities
• Record all customer interactions accurately in the CRM
• Work with internal teams and escalate complex cases when needed
• Maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• German at C1–C2 level, spoken and written
• English at B2 level minimum, for internal communication
• At least 6 months of phone-based sales or customer service experience (BPO voice experience preferred)
• A sales mindset and comfort with cross-selling and upselling
• Strong communication and active-listening skills
• Good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
• Proactive, patient, empathetic and solution-oriented
• Based in Bucharest and able to commute to the Sector 4 office 3 days a week
• Available for full-time work

Training

• 1 week of training, Monday to Friday, 10:00–17:00
