Application Operations Engineer (DevSecOps) (f/m/d)

Your area of work:

For our Product Organization CTO (Chief Technology Officer) we are looking for a development application operational specialist, or one who wants to become one, for our globally leading market data systems. The Deutsche Börse Group CTO provides technology enabled services building sustainable foundations to accelerate digital transformation and foster innovation.

You will be part of a build and run team being responsible for services around the CTO (Data as a Service) area and the company-wide DevSecOps Toolchain. You should expect an innovative environment enforcing agile applications operations with a strong focus on cloud environments as well as infrastructure on-premise. We ensure that maximum service levels are provided to customers on a 24-hour basis.

Your responsibilities:

1. You will contribute to manage, coordinate, support the team and responsible to deliver results.
2. Be responsive, move the business forward and giving it a stronger technological advantage.
3. Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional as technical borders.
4. You should be curious about new possibilities and act to explore them.
5. You will support the IT based environments 24/7 and will solve business and IT incidents with innovative solutions to ensure that a maximum service level is provided to Customers on a 24-hour basis.
6. You will work closely with developers and security teams implementing and maintaining deployment pipelines and compliance processes.
7. You will plan, implement, integrate and support third party software as well as internally developed applications within IT production environment as well as managed services customers.
8. You will analyse problems, resolve issues and will perform monitoring, tuning and optimisation of performance of in-house applications as well as third party software.
9. You will work on the deployment of new projects and document implemented solutions.
10. Diligent and motivate working on streams, taking challenges and embrace change towards cloud solutions.

Your profile:

1. Application operations, DevSecOps and DevSecOps tools, project implementation or administrative position.
2. Cloud (Azure, Google Cloud), Linux server environments.
3. Administration of Kubernetes Clusters, OpenShift, Docker / Podman.
4. Use and administration of Terraform Enterprise and Vault, Github Enterprise, Github Advanced Security, Artifactory, SonarQube and strong grasp of automation tools.
5. Administration of a variety of database engines like PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB as well as reporting platforms like Splunk or Graylog.
6. Organised, curious, proactive, ability to work in a team.
7. Customer-facing role, service-oriented attitude and attention to detail.
8. The job calls for both technical capability and business understanding.
9. Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
10. Ability to code and script (especially Python, Ansible, Helm Charts).
11. Experience with systems and IT operations.
