For our Product Organization CTO (Chief Technology Officer) we are looking for a development application operational specialist, or one who wants to become one, for our globally leading market data systems. The Deutsche Börse Group CTO provides technology enabled services building sustainable foundations to accelerate digital transformation and foster innovation.

You will be part of a build and run team being responsible for services around the CTO (Data as a Service) area and the company wide DevSecOps Toolchain. You should expect an innovative environment enforcing agile applications operations with a strong focus on cloud environments as well as infrastructure on-premises. We ensure that the maximum service levels are provided to customers on a 24-hour basis.

Your responsibilities:

• Support team efforts, ensuring efficient collaboration and successful delivery of results.
• Enable business progress by leveraging technology to create a competitive edge.
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional as technical borders
• Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in exploring innovative solutions and emerging technologies.
• Provide 24/7 support for IT environments, resolving business and IT incidents with creative and effective solutions to maintain optimal service levels for customers.
• Collaborate closely with development and security teams to implement and maintain deployment pipelines and compliance frameworks.
• Plan, integrate, and support both third-party software and internally developed applications within IT production environments and managed services.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues, while continuously monitoring, tuning, and optimizing the performance of in-house and third-party applications.
• Contribute to the deployment of new projects and ensure thorough documentation of implemented solutions.
• Embrace change and actively contribute to cloud transformation initiatives with diligence and motivation.

Your profile:

• Proven experience in application operations, DevSecOps practices, and project implementation or administration.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and Linux server environments.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and Linux server environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters, OpenShift, Docker/Podman.
• Proficient in using and administering tools such as Terraform Enterprise, Vault, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Advanced Security, Artifactory, and SonarQube, with a solid understanding of automation.
• Skilled in managing various database engines (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB) and reporting platforms (Splunk, Graylog).
• Highly organized, curious, proactive, and a strong team player.
• Comfortable in customer-facing roles with a service-oriented mindset and keen attention to detail.
• Capable of bridging technical expertise with business acumen.
• Familiar with a wide range of open-source technologies and tools.
• Proficient in scripting and coding (especially Python, Ansible, Helm Charts).
• Experienced in systems and IT operations, with a focus on reliability and performance.
