Data Scientist, Industrial AI & Advanced Analytics in Stockholm

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Nordic Data & AI Practice in Stockholm.

You will work alongside experienced consultants and AI specialists, combining technical problem solving with real business challenges. Your work can range from data analysis and machine learning to generative AI, AI agents and applications that support our clients and our own consultants.

This is a role for someone who enjoys building things, solving problems and turning AI from an idea into something people can actually use.

What you will do

As a Data Scientist at EFESO Nordics, you will:

• Develop AI, machine learning and advanced analytics solutions for real business and operational challenges
• Work hands-on with data using Python and other relevant tools
• Build and test applications using technologies such as machine learning, generative AI and AI agents
• Translate business problems into analytical and technical solutions
• Support implementation of AI solutions in client environments
• Work closely with consultants, AI specialists and client teams
• Contribute to the continued development of our Nordic Data & AI capabilities

Is this you?

You are curious, technically strong and motivated by using AI to solve real-world problems.
You are likely to bring:

• Around 2–4 years of relevant experience in data science, AI, machine learning, software development or advanced analytics
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python
• Practical experience with machine learning, data analysis and statistical methods
• Experience building AI solutions beyond theoretical or academic exercises
• Familiarity with technologies such as generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG or modern machine learning frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and clients
• Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field is an advantage, but practical experience and technical capability matter more to us than a specific academic background.

Fluent English and a Nordic language is required. Experience from industry, consulting or working directly with business stakeholders is an advantage.
