We're looking for a Senior Java Developer – Azure to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland, in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will design and build backend services and APIs while contributing to scalable cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performing software solutions that drive client success in complex enterprise environments.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop robust, scalable and secure server-side applicationsBuild and maintain RESTful APIs for backend and frontend communicationIntegrate backend systems with third-party servicesContribute to the design of scalable, resilient and fault-tolerant systemsOptimize application performance across servicesWrite clean, maintainable and efficient codeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutionsSupport deployment and operations on Microsoft AzureRequirementsSolid experience as a Java developer in enterprise environmentsHands-on experience with Microsoft AzureWorking knowledge of Spring BootFamiliarity with Azure Kubernetes ServiceExposure to Azure Service Bus or similar messaging systemsStrong understanding of API design and integration principlesGood grasp of performance optimization techniquesSolid understanding of clean code principles and software design patternsNice to haveAdditional Azure certificationsExperience with event-driven architectures
