We're looking for an Application Engineer to join our team in Lausanne, Switzerland in an onsite working mode. In this role, you will develop and maintain critical applications that support scheduling, dispatch, risk management and compliance processes. Your contributions will directly impact operational efficiency and regulatory adherence across complex environments. Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering and specification for data management applications Collaborate with client managers, Product Managers and development teams to prioritize and deliver product backlog items Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and internal security guidelines Facilitate clear communication between business units and technical teams Oversee application maintenance, performance optimization and migration activities Mitigate risks linked to product delivery and evolving business needs Drive continuous delivery of features and improvements focused on usability and value Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to align product goals Requirements
Proven experience in eliciting and specifying complex business requirements Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, NIS2, REMIT) Hands-on exposure as a Product Owner or Proxy PO in an agile environment Strong understanding of Oracle Forms, Python and C# Excellent analytical skills to translate business needs into technical solutions Solid background in backlog refinement and risk assessment Effective communication and client-facing skills to engage multiple stakeholders Nice to have Knowledge of system integration techniques and performance tuning Previous experience in regulated environments Exposure to cloud-native technologies or DevOps practices
