As a

Senior Manager Data Science & AI Engineering , you are more than a project manager or tech lead.

You are a trusted advisor for decision-makers, a bridge between business departments and engineering teams, and a contributor to innovative solutions.

You combine strategic thinking, technological expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset to support our clients from the initial idea through successful implementation.

You take responsibility for complex client projects, build and strengthen long-term client relationships, and actively contribute to the further development of our Data Science and AI portfolio together with our team.

At the same time, you support the development of our colleagues and help create an environment where innovation and excellence can grow.

• You understand business – and translate it into AI solutions
• You analyze complex business challenges and develop sustainable Data and AI strategies together with our clients.
• You identify the underlying causes behind requirements and design holistic solutions across processes, data, organization, and technology.
• You connect management, business functions, and engineering teams to create a common understanding of the solution.
• You translate technological opportunities into concrete business value and sound decision-making.
• You lead complex AI transformations
• You take responsibility for the successful implementation of complex Data Science and AI projects from a technical, commercial, and organizational perspective.
• You coordinate interdisciplinary teams consisting of Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Software Engineers, and Consultants.
• You support clients from strategy development and proof of concept through to productive implementation and scaling.
• You ensure that solutions are not only technically successful but also sustainably integrated into the organization.
• You shape modern AI solutions
• You design and implement scalable Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
• You develop architectures for production-ready AI systems, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), MLOps, and cloud platforms.
• You establish best practices for AI Engineering, software quality, governance, and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence.
• You evaluate new technologies and transform innovations into practical solutions for our clients.
• You develop clients and business
• You build trusted, long-term client relationships and strategically develop existing accounts.
• You identify new opportunities and develop innovative solution approaches together with our clients.
• You contribute to proposals, pitches, and client workshops and represent Eraneos as a trusted partner for Data Science and AI.
• You bring market insights into our portfolio and actively contribute to the development of our services.
• You develop people and our capabilities
• You provide professional leadership to project teams and support the personal and professional development of our colleagues.
• You coach Consultants and Engineers and support their individual career development.
• You promote knowledge sharing and contribute to methods, standards, and communities within our organization.
• You represent Eraneos at industry events, conferences, and within the AI community.

Who you are

• You have several years of experience in consulting or leading complex Data, Analytics, or AI projects.
• You have strong experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or modern software development.
• You have excellent knowledge of current AI technologies, especially Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Computer Vision.
• You have experience with Python and common frameworks and libraries.
• You have expertise in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) as well as MLOps and Dev Ops practices.
• You have experience leading interdisciplinary project teams and managing stakeholders at management and C-level.
• You have strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and understandable way.
• You enjoy building client relationships, developing business opportunities, and shaping new topics.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, show initiative, and take responsibility.
• You have excellent German and English communication skills.
• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field.
