Overview
In this role you drive electrical commissioning for complex systems, ensuring proper installation, testing, and turnover while aligning with project schedules and safety standards. You work within the Quality & Commissioning team to resolve technical issues and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients. You’ll shape commissioning strategies, test plans, and documentation to support smooth project execution. This position offers hands-on impact in data centers and mission-critical environments, with a strong emphasis on QA/QC and cross-functional collaboration.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage end-to-end commissioning activities for assigned electrical systems and packages from construction completion through testing, energization, and turnover
- Provide strong technical expertise in electrical engineering topics (HV/MV/LV power systems, distribution, protection, and controls) and rapid issue resolution
- Act as an expert point of contact for electrical commissioning, coordinating with vendors, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders
- Develop and execute electrical commissioning strategies, including test procedures, ITPs, work packs, and compliant documentation
- Plan and manage electrical system sequencing, energization, LOTO/permit-to-work, and risk mitigation for complex power systems
- Lead electrical QA/QC activities and field execution, including inspections, punch lists, testing (power quality, protection, loop checks), and close-out
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Several years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities
- Strong understanding of HV/MV/LV power systems, AC/DC distribution, and load flow concepts
- Experience with switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and protection schemes
- Familiarity with commissioning standards and best practices
