Are you ready to apply your skills where they can create real impact? Finance in Motion is currently seeking a Senior Officer in our Fund Management team. This is a new role and it will be deeply embedded in high-performing team central to the firm’s operations. The ideal candidate has four to eight years of professional experience and has developed a clear vision for how data architecture can unlock valuable insights within a financial services environment.

Job Summary

This role will be responsible, in close coordination with the Director of Fund Management, for the creation and implementation of a tailored data-use strategy within the team. While performing portfolio management tasks, including asset-liability management, Fund Management uses data from various sources to plan the overall investment approach and risk appetite of various investment funds. Data is sourced from derivatives, loans, cash instruments and external market data providers to create the required dashboards and ratios for management decisions. The quality and scalability of this data collection is critically important for the smooth functioning of the company’s assets under management. Utilization of standard data protocols and artificial intelligence is an important strategic pillar for the efficient and prudent investment of capital. A passion for data architecture and deep attention to detail is needed to enable the provisions of the financial insights across the portfolio management function. Finally, the integration and use of various artificial intelligence agents will be necessary to successfully create a system that can create a step change in analytical and operational capabilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Mid-career professional with a clear vision for how to fully optimise data systems in a rapidly changing AI-enabled environment
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline
• Ability to work independently and execute a multi-stage project with little direction
• Experience with data systems in the financial services sector, e.g. Bloomberg API, Power BI, Azure ecosystem and AI/LLM tools
