pThe Production Engineer is responsible for driving the evolution of the firm's monitoring and observability capabilities while actively contributing to the day-to-day operations of the Managed Services organization. /p pThe role combines technical leadership in monitoring platform modernization, automation, and operational intelligence with hands‑on support responsibilities across client environments. As a member of the Chiasso‑based Managed Services team, the individual participates in incident management, service monitoring, on‑call rotations, client support activities, and operational governance to ensure the stability, availability, and security of client services. /p pThe role also provides expertise and support for CIM‑related incidents and operational challenges. /p h3Primary Responsibilities /h3 h3Monitoring Observability Transformation /h3 ul liLead the enhancement and redesign of monitoring dashboards to fully leverage Zabbix Agent 2 capabilities. /li liDrive the migration and decommissioning of legacy NWA Agent monitoring components. /li liIntegrate additional infrastructure and applications into the Zabbix platform, including: /li ul liVtom servers and batch processing components /li liYear-End environments /li liApplication and infrastructure log monitoring /li /ul liImprove the reliability, quality, and relevance of monitoring alerts and log parsing mechanisms. /li liPrepare and support the deployment of new production monitoring infrastructure, including Zabbix servers and proxies. /li liDefine and implement security processes, governance, and lifecycle management for Zabbix and Agent 2. /li /ul h3Automation Tool Integration /h3 ul liLead the replacement of MoniPiguet and the transition of monitoring capabilities to strategic platforms. /li liIntegrate Zabbix with ITM, Jira, and other operational tools to automate incident and ticket lifecycle management. /li liImplement intelligent alerting and workflow automation, including: /li ul liBatch-progress monitoring /li liEscalation processes /li liAlert acknowledgements for on‑call teams /li liAutomated incident creation and closure where appropriate /li /ul /ul h3Reporting Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liProduce KPI reports related to incidents, monitoring effectiveness, service availability, and operational performance. /li liAnalyze trends and recommend improvements to increase service reliability and operational efficiency. /li liContribute to service reviews, post‑incident analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. /li /ul h3Managed Services Operational Responsibilities /h3 pAs a full member of the Chiasso Managed Services team, the individual will: /p ul liPerform daily operational checks and health monitoring across client environments. /li liAccess client production and non‑production environments to investigate incidents and service disruptions. /li liParticipate in incident management activities, including major incident response and resolution coordination. /li liTake part in shift rotations and on‑call schedules to provide support outside normal business hours. /li liContribute to change implementation, service requests, and operational support activities. /li liParticipate in client governance meetings, service reviews, and operational discussions where required. /li liMaintain operational documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles. /li liSupport cross‑functional collaboration with Technical Services, Product Owners, Development Teams, and Client Service Managers. /li /ul h3Client Ownership Responsibilities /h3 pThe individual will progressively assume ownership responsibilities for designated clients, including: /p ul liActing as a key operational contact for assigned clients. /li liCoordinating incident resolution and problem management activities. /li liMonitoring service performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. /li liSupporting operational reviews and client‑facing discussions. /li liEnsuring adherence to service commitments and operational best practices. /li /ul h3CIM Expertise Support /h3 ul liProvide advanced support and expertise for incidents involving CIM‑related components. /li liAssist Managed Services teams during investigations, troubleshooting, and root cause analyses involving CIM. /li liFacilitate knowledge transfer and best‑practice sharing across support and operational teams. /li liServe as a subject matter expert when CIM‑related issues impact client services. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liStrong understanding of FNZ's operating model and products /li liProven involvement in monitoring modernization initiatives. /li liExisting expertise in Zabbix, monitoring automation, and incident management processes. /li liKnowledge of CIM and its operational support requirements /li liEnglish and French fluent required /li /ul h3About FNZ /h3 pFNZ is committed to opening up wealth so that everyone, everywhere can invest in their future on their terms.
