It comes from our belief that life is richer when we truly connect to the people and the world around us.About the location:About The RoleAs Security and Safety Manager, you will lead the Security and Safety function of The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel, ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, assets and property.Reporting to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the hotel’s day‑to‑day security operation, risk management, emergency preparedness and crisis response. As a Department Head, you will establish a proactive and service‑oriented security culture across the hotel, combining sound judgement, discretion and operational expertise with the warmth and care that define Four Seasons.This is a permanent, full‑year position, joining our pre‑opening team in March 2027 ahead of the hotel’s Summer 2027 opening.What You Will DoLead all security and safety activities across the hotel, protecting guests, employees, assets and the propertyLead, develop and supervise the Security team and coordinate external security providers where applicableOversee physical security systems and procedures, including access control, CCTV, alarms, key security, patrols and incident managementConduct risk assessments and investigations and ensure appropriate reporting, follow‑up and preventive measuresLead the hotel’s security emergency preparedness and crisis management activities, including procedures, drills and employee trainingCoordinate security planning for VIP stays, special events and other higher‑risk activitiesMaintain strong relationships with local police, fire and emergency services and work closely with hotel leadership and relevant Four Seasons security resourcesLead security readiness for the hotel opening and continuously develop the property’s security standards and practicesWhat You BringA degree, diploma or recognised professional qualification in Security Management, Risk Management, Hospitality Management or a related field is preferredMinimum five years of progressive experience in security, safety or risk management, including previous leadership responsibility, ideally within luxury hospitality or another high‑service environmentDemonstrated experience in physical security, incident management, investigations, emergency preparedness and crisis responseStrong knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm and other physical security systemsExcellent judgement, discretion and problem‑solving skills, with confidence handling sensitive and high‑pressure situationsStrong communication, reporting and training skills; experience working with law enforcement, emergency services and external security providersFluent English and German and/or French; additional languages are advantageousValid driving licence; First Aid/CPR, Health & Safety, fire safety or recognised security certifications are advantageousIn accordance with Swiss employment regulations, only candidates holding Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship, or a valid Swiss work authorization, can be considered for this positionWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefitsComplimentary meals during working shiftsEmployee accommodation subject to availability and applicable conditionsFour Seasons employee benefits, including preferential rates at Four Seasons hotels and resorts worldwideLearning, development and international career opportunities within Four SeasonsAccess to the Four Seasons travel benefit after six months of service #J-18808-Ljbffr
