We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected. /p h3About The Role /h3 pAs Drone System Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in validating the performance, reliability, and operational readiness of our autonomous defense systems. You will lead test campaigns on our own systems to inform internal development and maintain a competitive edge. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSystem Testing: Plan and execute validation verification of defense systems (drone, payload...) in simulated and real-world conditions. /li liFlight Test Campaigns: Design and conduct rigorous test for new features, hardware configurations, and software releases. /li liTest Protocols: Define, document, and refine structured test procedures. /li liData Analysis: Capture and interpret telemetry, logs, and test outcomes to assess system behavior and recommend design improvements hand-in-hand with the RD. /li liCross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with hardware, software, and systems teams to support debugging and iteration based on test outcomes. /li /ul h3Candidate Requirements /h3 ul li2–5 years of experience in validation on aerospace or robotic systems, or embedded robotics. /li liSolid understanding of methodology for rigorous testing and validation of technical system /li liWide engineering culture around flight dynamics, control systems, avionics, and/or RF systems. /li liComfortable designing and executing structured test protocols. /li liExperience with DVT/PVT phases and environmental testing methodologies. /li liStrong statistical analysis skills to interpret test data and validate reliability. /li liBonus: Pilot certification, experience with military or industrial drone platforms. /li liDetail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills. /li liStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward success. /li /ul h3Location and Commitments /h3 ul liContract Type: Permanent contract /li liWork Schedule: Full-time /li liAvailability: ASAP /li liLocation: Lausanne /li /ul pWe look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
