My client is a global manufacturer of electronic components and interconnect solutions, supporting customers across a range of technology-driven industries. They are looking to appoint a Junior Account Manager based in ZIP regions 0, 1 & 2, responsible for developing customer relationships and new commercial opportunities across Northern and Eastern Germany.
This is a strong opportunity for an early-career sales professional who wants to build a career in technical account management, with exposure to customers, distribution partners and a broad portfolio of electronic products.
The Role
As a Junior Account Manager, you will:
- Develop new business while supporting and growing existing customer accounts.
- Visit customers to understand their technical and commercial requirements.
- Promote connectors, cable assemblies and interconnect solutions.
- Work closely with product, engineering, customer service and distribution partners.
- Manage your sales pipeline, opportunities and forecasts.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor developments.
- Attend customer meetings, trade shows and industry events.
About You
The ideal Junior Account Manager will have up to three years' experience in sales, business development, engineering or another customer-facing commercial role.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Commercially minded, proactive and keen to develop.
- Confident communicating with customers and building relationships.
- Interested in electronics and technical products.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Comfortable travelling regularly throughout Germany.
- Based within a commutable location for the territory and holding a valid driving licence.
The Junior Account Manager role offers the scope to develop within the electronic components industry, taking ownership of a territory while building valuable technical and commercial experience.
