SAP IS-U Managing Consultant
In this role you will join a leading international consulting environment supporting end to end SAP transformations with a strong focus on utilities industry processes including billing, customer service and energy data management. You will work closely with clients to define solution strategies, lead SAP IS-U workstreams and deliver business critical transformation programmes within SAP S/4HANA and SAP IS-U environments.
What you can expect
You will be part of a highly experienced SAP team delivering large scale transformation programmes across energy and utilities organisations. The environment is collaborative, technically strong and focused on delivering measurable value to utility providers undergoing digital transformation.
You will play a key role in shaping end to end utilities solutions for global and regional energy providers while leading project teams and supporting the development of junior consultants. There is a strong emphasis on leadership, client engagement and building long term trusted advisor relationships.
Projects typically include SAP S/4HANA transformations, SAP IS-U modernisation programmes, customer experience improvements, smart metering integration initiatives and full cycle billing process redesigns.
Your responsibilities
You will lead SAP IS-U workstreams across complex transformation programmes and full project lifecycles
You will engage with senior stakeholders to define solution strategies and utilities transformation roadmaps
You will support business development activities including proposal creation, client presentations and pre sales engagements
You will lead workshops with business stakeholders across customer service, billing, metering and energy data management functions
You will oversee the design and implementation of utilities processes including device management, meter reading, billing, invoicing, contract accounts and customer master data
You will ensure seamless integration between SAP IS-U and related modules including SAP FI-CA, SAP CRM, SAP SD and SAP S/4HANA components
You will mentor and support junior consultants while contributing to the growth of the wider SAP practice
You will support testing, training, cutover planning and go live activities including hypercare phases
You will contribute to the continuous development of methodologies, accelerators and best practice solutions
Your profile
You have extensive hands on experience in SAP IS-U across multiple full lifecycle implementations
You have a strong understanding of utilities processes including billing, metering and customer management
You have experience leading SAP project workstreams and managing client relationships
You are comfortable working in SAP S/4HANA and legacy SAP IS-U environments
You have experience working within consulting environments and delivering complex transformation programmes
You are able to communicate confidently with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
You speak fluent English and German
You are a proactive leader who enjoys developing teams and driving successful project outcomes
