We are looking for a skilled Process Design Engineer - Pharma & Life Sciences to support the design, planning, and delivery of advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, including Biotech, OSD, Secondary Manufacturing, and Cell & Gene Therapy plants. You will be involved in projects from early concept development through to commissioning and qualification.
Key duties of the role include
- Lead and support the design, planning, and coordination of pharmaceutical process facilities
- Develop key process documentation, including User Requirement Specifications (URS), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs, and mass and energy balances
- Prepare tender documentation and support bid evaluations
- Coordinate with vendors post-award to ensure successful project execution
- Provide support during construction, commissioning, and qualification phases
- Contribute to investments' cost estimates and project budgeting
Here's what you'll need
- Degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical plant design and engineering
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or biopharmaceutical production technologies
- Structured and solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to travel for business as required
- Fluent in German and/or French, along with fluent English
