Together we make a significant contribution to the development of sustainable mobility in the region. You can contribute too. In the Infrastructure Department, we are looking for a Safety Attendant / Craftsman for the railway service in Bätterkinden from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement.
What you can achieve with us
You ensure safety on railway construction sites and warn in good time of approaching trains
You support the team with maintenance work as well as expansion and renewal projects
You reliably implement the measures according to the safety plan
You monitor machines, equipment and work areas on the construction site
You communicate directly by radio or telephone with the responsible authorities
You switch overhead lines on and off and carry out grounding professionally
What you bring with you
You have completed a craft apprenticeship
You enjoy working outdoors and are physically fit
You are reliable, attentive and safety-conscious
You speak and write good German
You have a category B driving licence
You are a team player and pitch in when it counts
You are willing to work irregular hours
Training as a Safety Attendant or Safety Chief is a plus – if you do not yet have it, we will support you on the way there
