Your tasks
You bear the overall operational responsibility for the municipal administration and ensure that the organisation operates efficiently, transparently, and with a service-oriented approach. You lead the executive management as well as the department heads professionally, organisationally, and personally. In addition, you lead the staff units of the Municipal Administration Management Assistant and the Security Officer. You implement the decisions of the municipal council and the residents' council operationally, support the municipal council in its strategic-political tasks, and represent the administration's affairs in political committees. You prepare reports, templates, concepts, and analyses on strategically relevant topics and report periodically on goal achievement. Your special tasks include risk management of the municipal administration as well as overall responsibility for occupational safety and health protection. You ensure that the administration is perceived by the public as a modern, innovative, and citizen-oriented organisation. You attend meetings of the municipal council, the residents' council, and its office and actively contribute your expertise.
