Due to our continuous growth, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for our club in Altdorf for a passionate and sports-enthusiastic Intern with the training goal of Gym Manager (m/f/d) on a 100% basis
Your start at PureGym
In this training role, you bring your leadership experience as well as your basic business knowledge, actively work in the club and deepen your understanding of our operational processes and leadership procedures. The training takes place in a dual system – in cooperation with our external training partner. The majority of your training takes place directly at PureGym in the club, where you learn the practical skills from the ground up. Your goal is to gradually take on responsibility – up to managing a club.
Your role includes the following tasks and responsibilities:
- You look after and accompany our members in a friendly manner and spread the PureGym spirit throughout the entire facility
- You check all club areas and ensure that all quality requirements for safety, cleanliness and health protection are always met
- You regularly obtain information about PureGym news and market developments and support your Gym Manager in developing and implementing plans on how your club can assert itself in the market
- You regularly lead live group fitness classes and assist in planning and introducing new class schedules
What you bring:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have very good German and English skills (at least B2), additional languages are a plus
- You already have leadership experience in the service or retail sector – ideally, but not necessarily, in the fitness sector – and have corresponding training in this area.
- You are interested in business contexts and are confident in using Excel.
- You have a strong affinity for sport, fitness, health and sales
- You have a high sense of responsibility and are willing to take on deputy tasks of gym management in the future
- You enjoy customer contact and like working with people
- You are motivated to take on new tasks
- You are independent and enjoy working in a team
