Head of Service (m/f/d, 80-100%, split shift) - Basel The Hofmatt, built in 1927 in Münchenstein (BL), comprises a hotel with 15 rooms, a restaurant with 70 seats as well as around 90 garden seats. In addition, there is a large event hall and two seminar rooms available. The stylish event hall can accommodate up to 400 people and is equipped with a gallery, stage and modern event technology – ideal for a variety of occasions. Complementing this, we present the successful programme of Le Petit Chef in our hotel.
Your tasks:
Mainly guest-focused: personal care and good service
Leadership and coordination of the service team
Further development of the service team and targeted promotion of employees
Ensuring a smooth service process between restaurant and events
Keeping an overview during busy periods and making spontaneous decisions
Close cooperation with hotel, kitchen and service
Little administration: duty planning as a basis, focus on the guest
Your profile:
Experience in service, ideally with leadership experience
Pragmatic and down-to-earth, a good role model for the team
Friendly demeanour and great joy in guest contact
Very good German skills, Swiss German an advantage
Resilience and flexibility
Team spirit, reliability and an eye for the essentials
