pVFI wishes to recruit a skilled bLaboratory Technician /borbResearch Assistant /bto strengthen our analytical activities and contribute to research and development on emulsion and liposome-based adjuvants at our laboratories in Switzerland. /ppKey Responsibilities /pulliPerform quantitative analysis of adjuvant components using HPLC/UPLC systems with UV, ELSD, CAD, and MS detection methods /liliAssist in the research and development of vaccine adjuvant technologies, including small-scale manufacturing and quality control (QC) analysis /liliTroubleshoot and manage the maintenance of liquid chromatography laboratory instruments /liliDevelop and optimize experimental protocols using bibliographic research as needed /liliRecord, analyze, and interpret experimental data, including report writing and presenting findings /liliEnsure cleanliness and order in the laboratory to promote a safe and organized working environment /li /ulpQualifications and Requirements /pulliLaboratory technician CFC with experience in biotechnology, HES engineer, University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with laboratory experience, or equivalent /liliSignificant experience in LC-MS with emphasis on practical use, troubleshooting and maintenance /liliPrevious experience with i/ analytical chemistry: including but not limited to sample preparation, HPLC with UV, ELSD, CAD detectors, and OpenLab software or similar, ii/ physicochemical analysis: including but not limited to dynamic light scattering, electrophoretic light scattering, light diffraction, pH measurements, osmometry /liliExcellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to work within a multidisciplinary environment /liliExcellent organization skills, autonomy, and self-motivation /liliExcellent standard of both written and spoken English /li /ulpWorking conditions /pulliPlace of work will be onsite either in VFI’s facilities in Plan-Les-Ouates (Geneva) or in Epalinges (Lausanne), Switzerland, with regular travels between both facilities. /liliFull-time and part-time employment will be considered /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
