pOn behalf of one of our clients, a recognised player in the world of high jewellery, we are looking for ba Gemmologist / High Jewellery Back Office /b to strengthen their team. /ph3Role: /h3ulliFull-time position (100%) /liliContract type: Permanent /liliStart date: ideally 1st December 2026 or to be agreed /liliWorkplace: Geneva /li /ulh3Your role: /h3pWithin a small structure of fewer than 10 employees, you will participate in the management and monitoring of the production of high jewellery pieces. You will act as the interface between internal teams, partners, workshops and suppliers to ensure the smooth progress of each stage of their creation, providing your gemmological expertise throughout the project. The main responsibilities related to this position include: /pulliParticipating in the management of high jewellery projects in their entirety, from launch to delivery, coordinating the various stakeholders and ensuring the monitoring of manufacturing stages; /liliSelecting and inspecting precious stones, particularly in terms of quality, compliance and traceability; /liliCoordinating the follow-up of certificates with gemmological laboratories (GIA, SSEF, Gübelin, GRS…) /liliChecking the conformity of pieces upon return from the workshop (stones, hallmarks, etc.) before delivery; /liliMonitoring manufacturing deadlines with partner workshops; /liliEnsuring the rigorous entry and exit recording of stones in the system to guarantee traceability; /liliPreparing the quotation for each project by pricing the stones and manufacturing costs, in liaison with partner workshops; /liliEnsuring the reliability and monitoring of data related to projects, stocks, flows and costs in the ERP; /liliParticipating in other tasks depending on needs and the evolution of the position. /li /ulh3Profile sought: /h3ulliYou hold a bcertified qualification in gemmology, ideally a /b GIA certification (Graduate Gemologist) or equivalent; /liliYou have proven professional experience, ideally in the world of high jewellery, jewellery, watchmaking or a demanding production environment; /liliYou are fluent in French and have an excellent level of English (minimum C1); /liliYou are comfortable with bIT tools and ERPs /b. /li /ulh3Additionally, you /h3ulliDemonstrate good team spirit; /liliAre meticulous and pay great attention to detail; /liliShow a sense of priorities; /liliHave a good aesthetic sense; /liliA creative mind is an asset. /li /ulh3We offer /h3ulliA position with responsibilities within a small team; /liliA rewarding, varied job in an exceptional environment; /liliExcellent working conditions and attractive social benefits. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
