Your opportunities with us You are responsible for the personnel, financial, professional and organisational management of the Medical Services Department. This includes: Anaesthesia, Radiology, Intensive Care Unit, Operating Theatres and Anaesthesia Nursing, Emergency Services, Hospital Pharmacy, Public Pharmacy and Laboratory As a member of the Executive Board, you actively shape the operational implementation of the KSGL strategy and, together with your colleagues, are responsible for achieving the strategic and operational corporate goals, especially in the area of patient-centred care You are responsible for the further development of the Medical Services Department (development and change processes, strategic and conceptual handling of specialist topics) and act as a sparring partner for interprofessional/interdisciplinary issues and projects You maintain networks inside and outside the care region and continue to expand them You suit us if You have a (specialist) university degree, including management training at tertiary level Ideally, you bring patient-centred basic training You have several years of solid professional and leadership experience in a similar environment (health organisations and/or multi-sector organisations) You possess analytical skills and can consider aspects from different perspectives You are a confident, engaging and integrous personality and communicate appropriately for the target group You can inspire, are innovative and apply pragmatic as well as realistic implementation approaches You have the ability for cross-departmental collaboration and consensus building High resilience and consistent solution orientation through business excellence are natural for you We reward your passion with a varied and demanding role offering a wide scope for design with support from motivated and committed employees who distinguish KSGL with collegial cooperation in a future-oriented executive board with a motivated leadership team in your department The Cantonal Hospital Glarus is located amidst the spectacular Glarus mountain landscape – just one hour from Zurich.
