Mobile maintenance of railway freight wagons in the field: You are responsible for fault diagnosis and repair of defective freight wagons.
Inspection and functional testing of the vehicles: You ensure that the rail vehicles are always in perfect condition.
You work with a fully equipped service vehicle and are predominantly active in the field.
Area of operation: Entire Switzerland with bases in Möhlin (Northwest Switzerland).
YOUR PROFILE
Completed vocational training as a plant/apparatus builder EFZ, industrial mechanic, locksmith or in a similar technical field.
Experience in rail vehicle maintenance is an advantage but not mandatory – motivated career changers are also welcome!
You work independently and responsibly at different locations in the field, always keeping quality and efficiency in mind.
Team spirit and a structured way of working characterise you – even in hectic times you keep a cool head.
Good German and French skills, both spoken and written, are necessary to communicate with colleagues and customers.
You hold a valid category B driving licence and are willing to travel throughout Switzerland. Depending on the place of deployment, it may occasionally involve an overnight stay. We assure you that you will be home again almost every evening.
