The International School Basel (ISB) is an English-language international day school for students from ages 3 to 18. ISB is home to approximately 1,110 students who enjoy modern purpose-built facilities on three campuses clustered a few kilometers south of Basel in the towns of Reinach and Aesch. The Position
ISB seeks to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Modern Languages (German) (100%) to join our Junior School Modern Languages Team. The successful candidate will teach German from Early Childhood 3 to Grade 5 within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), fostering students’ language development, curiosity and intercultural understanding.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in an international environment, a strong understanding of language acquisition and a commitment to engaging, student-centred learning. Experience with the IB PYP curriculum would be an advantage.
