The pastoral area Pfaffnerntal-Rottal-Wiggertal with the parishes Langnau, Pfaffnau-Roggliswil, Reiden-Wikon, Richenthal and St. Urban, with around 6,000 parishioners, is looking for the exciting role of a Type B pastoral area from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement for a pastoral area leader (80-100%) and a parish leader

Your area of responsibility

• 3 Leadership and organisation of the pastoral area, together with the leading priest
• 3 Leadership of the pastoral area team, in particular responsibility for the management, deployment and promotion of employees
• 3 General pastoral care for people in various life situations
• 3 Willingness to collaborate in various teams and groups
• 3 Support of volunteers

You bring with you

• 3 Completed theology studies and professional induction in the Diocese of Basel (or equivalent training)
• 3 Experience in leadership as well as enjoyment of leadership tasks, combined with a winning leadership style
• 3 Motivated personality who provides pastoral care with head and heart
• 3 Openness to jointly shaping a contemporary pastoral care
• 3 Open-minded personality who attentively and joyfully engages with people of different generations
• 3 Willingness and openness for lived ecumenism in our parishes
