The Humanitas nursing home (APH) in the Rauracher district is a meeting place for residents, relatives, guests and around 130 employees, and holds an important position in the south of Riehen with its seminar rooms, the public restaurant "Rosis Garten" and much more. In five different business areas, we offer care, support and assistance to 111 elderly people.
Your main tasks
- Operational management of the entire kitchen team in the absence of the head chef
- Independent and careful working style
- Assistance in developing dietary recipes and internal formulations
- Open and active collaboration with other interfaces
- Close cooperation with the superior and the hotel management
- Compliance with hygiene regulations and the HACCP concept
- Support in training and mentoring apprentices in the kitchen
- Assistance in conducting team meetings and weekly fixed appointments with the superior
- Support in conducting the annual performance appraisals
- Assistance with recruitment and evaluation of new employees
Your profile
- Completed training as a cook EFZ. Preferably in community catering and age-appropriate nutrition.
- Completed further training as BP head chef is an advantage
- Trainer and experience in apprentice supervision cook EFZ
- Professional experience in the diet kitchen
- Flair for team building and modern leadership style
- Familiarity and experience with the recipe tool *Pauli’s*. Responsible for building an internal recipe collection
- Experience and creativity in à la carte gastronomy for the public restaurant *Rosis Garten*
- A high level of service orientation as well as excellent manners in spoken and written language
- User knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in budget responsibility for goods costs
- You are committed, resilient and flexible
- Enjoy working with elderly people
- Willingness to work weekends / public holidays
