To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and professionally skilled individual as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.YOUR TASKS IN THIS ROLE ARE:Maintaining the general ledger of the political estate as well as our external assets and ensuring correct and comprehensible financial accounting. You will also perform account reconciliations and transfers and ensure the reconciliation of various interfaces.Assuming the professional deputy role of the Head of Accounting and supporting with demanding specialist questions and tasks. Additionally, you will deputise in the accounts receivable area and support other accounting processes as needed.Actively participating in the annual financial statements and budget process. This includes performing reconciliations, evaluations, preparing presentations, and other closing tasks. You will also contribute to the revaluation of our properties in financial assets and prepare and accompany external audits.Responsibility for our VAT returns, correct handling of withholding tax, and reconciliation of our bank accounts. Together with the Head of Accounting, you will take care of liquidity planning and financing and be responsible for cash flow.Performing account reconciliations and transfers and ensuring the reconciliation of various interfaces.Independently handling insurance and damage cases and being a competent contact person for financial questions within the administration.As a superuser in Abacus, you will contribute your expertise, support the further development of our systems and processes, and take responsibility in projects. You will actively contribute your ideas.YOUR PROFILE FITS EXCELLENTLY IF YOU:Have a federal diploma in finance and accounting or a similar qualification and have already gained solid professional experience in accounting.Feel confident even with more complex accounting issues and ideally know public accounting as well as HRM2 or are motivated to engage with these in depth.Work independently, precisely, and responsibly and keep an overview even with demanding questions.Quickly recognise connections and think analytically.Enjoy digital processes and actively contribute your knowledge to their further development and ideally have already worked with Abacus.Enjoy working in a team but also independently manage your area of responsibility and bring an open, straightforward manner.
