Why this role is important As on‑call francophone substitute teachers, you play a vital role in maintaining our high pedagogical standards. You will create a stimulating, caring, and inquiry‑based learning environment and design engaging learning experiences aligned with the Primary Programme framework, fostering the holistic development of each student.
Responsibilities
Deliver stimulating and inclusive lessons in line with the primary school curriculum.
Foster a positive, caring, and stimulating classroom environment that supports students’ social and emotional development.
Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs.
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the holistic development of the student.
Manage the classroom to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications
Flexibility, ability to accept work at short notice.
Internationally recognised teaching qualification.
Strong understanding of child development and age‑appropriate pedagogical practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Effective classroom management skills to foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
Ability to differentiate teaching to meet diverse needs and learning styles.
Excellent command of French and English (minimum B1).

Technical skills
