In this cross-sectional role, as a member of the specialist team, you are directly at the heart of all developments in accounting, especially for banks and insurance companies, and actively help shape them.
Main tasks
- Handling accounting issues (especially regarding the FINMA Accounting Ordinance / FINMA-RS 20/1 "Accounting - Banks" and the Code of Obligations)
- Internal consulting, training and support of supervision in complex matters
- Analysis of annual financial statements (individual and consolidated accounts) to support supervisory monitoring
- Revision of existing and development of new regulationsOn-site inspections and contact point for inquiries from supervised entities and stakeholders
- Monitoring and influencing national and international developments
Profile
- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in economics or finance or a comparable higher professional qualification, for example as a certified auditor
- 5-8 years of professional experience in the field of bank accounting (FINMA Accounting Ordinance / FINMA-RS 20/1 "Accounting - Banks")
- Ability to independently grasp, structure and assess complex contexts even under time pressure
- Solution-oriented working approach, persuasiveness, teamwork skills as well as good editorial skills
- Very good German or French skills (C2) with good knowledge of the other language as well as good English skills
