Senior Specialist - Controlling and Reporting (M/F/D)
Tasks:
- Ensure financial reporting is in line with applicable reporting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss GAAP and Swiss GAAP FER)
- Preparation of financial statements for Swiss GAAP, Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS reporting.
- Support with preparation of documentation for external audits to ensure tight reporting deadlines are met.
- Primarily responsible for Swiss GAAP FER audits.
- Support with legal entity monthly closing.
- Oversee the winding down of the Latin American Inventory Hub.
- Work closely with the Tax Manager on all tax-related topics.
- Support the Entity Controllers to ensure that Swiss GAAP FER / Tax ledger adjustments are accurately posted each month.
- Responsible for Legal Entity Integration and New Business accounting.
- Project related work to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Ensure effective financial control environment by understanding, monitoring and executing local control procedures and that all key controls as defined in the company's Global and Local Control Standards are properly executed and documented.
- Work closely and communicate effectively with other teams in Organon.
Qualification:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting and at least 10 years of demonstrated experience in an accounting and/or finance role in a corporate environment. Chartered Accountant is preferred
- Expert in accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Proven ability to work closely with leaders of other teams in the company
- Flexible and willing to take on new projects at short notice
- Adheres to the highest standards of ethical behavior in all interactions and holds others to the same standards; comply with all laws, policies and regulations; identify and address ethical issues without hesitation
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation and problem-solving skills

- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA modules is preferred, advanced user of Excel and financial reporting tools
