Why Nesto - why now?

Do you want a front-row seat to scaling a B2B SaaS company from the inside? At Nesto, you'll work directly with the CEO, founders and leadership on the most important priorities, from go-to-market infrastructure to financial systems to how we plan capacity as we grow. You're the right-hand person to the CEO, with direct impact on Nesto’s success.

Restaurant and hospitality businesses run on people, but the tools for planning and managing that workforce haven't kept up. Most scheduling software is built for offices, then awkwardly bent to fit shift work. Nesto was built the other way round: for restaurants, from the start.

Today, we plan work for over 100,000 employees, across brands like McDonald's, L'Osteria, and Lagardère, spanning thousands of restaurants, with all the complexity of parent brands, franchisees, and individual sites layered on top. We're growing fast, and our ambition goes well beyond scheduling: we're building the agentic system of action for European restaurant groups, where AI doesn't just surface a recommendation but actually plans the shift, flags the risk, or fixes the gap before a manager has to.

Your responsibilities at Nesto

• Own cross-functional projects end to end: You take ambiguous, high-priority problems and drive them from scoping to delivered, coordinating cross-functionally with leaders at Nesto.
• Be an extension of leadership: You act as a sparring partner and force-multiplier for the leadership team, picking up the initiatives that need someone senior enough to have judgment but hands-on enough to execute.
• Prepare Nesto to scale: As we grow, you help lay the operational, process and infrastructure foundations that enable Nesto to scale without breaking.
• Run the operating system: You own EOS (our operating framework, similar to OKRs) end to end — driving the leadership team's meeting cadence, quarterly rocks, and KPI scorecard so priorities stay clear and accountability doesn't slip.
• Turn data into decisions: You build the models and dashboards (pricing, retention, capacity, SLA performance) that let leadership see what's actually happening in the business.

Your background that sets you apart

What will help you succeed

• You default to getting things done: you'd rather build the system than write the memo about the system.
• You move fluidly between structured analysis and hands-on execution — you're as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are in a stakeholder conversation.
• You take a decision and see it through, even when it's unglamorous or uncomfortable.
• You bring energy and persistence to problems that don't have a playbook yet.

Your experience

• 5–8 years of experience, with real hands-on exposure to how a software and AI companies run.
• Generalist who is comfortable working across GTM, product, finance, and operations.
• Strong analytical and project management skills — you can structure ambiguity and drive it to a conclusion.
• Fluent in English and ideally business-level German.

Nice to have

• Management consulting, investing, or early-stage start-up background (useful for structured problem-solving, not a prerequisite)
• Experience with EOS or a comparable operating framework.

How success in the first 12 months look like

• Delivered multiple cross-functional initiatives from problem to shipped solution.
• Taken full ownership of the leadership operating rhythm (cadence, rocks, KPIs) and visibly improved how well it runs
• Built credibility and trust with the leadership team to maximise your impact in cross-functional priorities.

• Not an EA or administrative support role.
• Not a pure strategy or slide-deck role with no execution.
• Not a role with a team to manage from day one.
• Not a narrowly scoped, single-function job.
