- We’re looking for a mid-level Brand Designer to own the design needs of Numa’s 170+ properties across our portfolio. You’ll be the first point of contact for operations, property management, and marketing requests — managing scope, timeline, and quality independently without a dedicated project manager
- This is a high-impact role that bridges brand strategy and operational reality. You’ll translate Brand Identity guidelines into self-service templates and assets that help our properties stay consistent, professional, and on-brand. You’re proactive, organised, and communicate clearly with stakeholders across the organisation
- What makes this different: This isn’t a support role. You define scope, push back when needed, and own the delivery. You manage a complex mix of requests in Asana, coordinate with our Brand Designer team, and help shape how Numa looks across Europe
- Manage signage and offline comm requests — collate, prioritise, and track requests in Asana
- Define scope independently — assess feasibility, timeline, and business impact; communicate decisions transparently to stakeholders
- Own project delivery — manage timelines, coordinate feedback, and deliver to specifications without a dedicated PM
- Stakeholder communication — proactively update requesters on status, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts early
- Property-related design work — signage visuals, wayfinding, room guides, guest communication, in-property materials (mostly print)
- Template & asset creation — build self-service templates that properties can adapt or customise with brand guidance
- Quality control — ensure consistency with Numa brand guidelines and visual standards across all outputs
- Production preparation — prepare files for print vendors, manage specifications, and oversee production handoff
- Close collaboration with Brand Identity team — align on guidelines, contribute to template development, and help operationalise brand decisions
- Maintain brand consistency — ensure properties have clear tools and resources to stay on-brand
- Systems thinking — identify patterns in requests and suggest scalable solutions (templates, processes, guidelines)
- Feedback & iteration — collaborate with designers and ops teams to refine assets and improve workflows
- File management — organise brand assets, maintain template libraries, and keep design systems accessible
- Self-service enablement — help properties and teams self-serve where possible; provide clear guidelines and support
- Process improvement — identify bottlenecks and suggest solutions to improve request handling and delivery
Benefits
- Remote options & flexible hours
- Geographic flexibility
- Team events and retreats
- We want you to understand our product so upon your start, you’ll get to spend a night at your nearest numa stay!
- Agile work environment with flat hierarchies
- Work from home equipment
- AI-first approach — design systems that scale and enable distributed execution
- Canva experience — understanding template-based design and self-service workflows
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) — InDesign especially important for layout and print
- Print design experience — understanding production workflows, file specs, and vendor requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency at scale
- Strong foundation in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Proactive & transparent working style — surface issues early, communicate status regularly, take initiative
- Problem-solving — can translate vague requests into clear briefs and suggest solutions
- Clear communication — can explain design decisions, manage expectations, and present ideas to non-designers
- Asana proficiency or ability to learn quickly — tracking requests, managing workload, coordinating with teams
- Ability to work independently — comfortable making decisions and pushing back when needed
- Project management mindset — comfortable owning scope, timeline, and stakeholder management
- Fluent English (spoken and written) — communicating across teams and with international stakeholders
- Collaborative — enjoy working with designers, ops teams, and property teams
- Service design mindset — thinking about how design serves the user and the business
- Experience in hospitality, multi-location retail, or franchise operations
- Familiarity with production workflows, printing, or vendor management
- Experience managing design requests from non-designers
- Experience with design systems or scalable design thinking
- Knowledge of wayfinding or environmental design
- Interest in how brand translates to physical spaces
