Global IT Strategic Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

1. Manage the delivery of strategic transformation projects for the Global IT organization (i.e. change projects to improve capabilities, performance or setup of the Global IT, not classical application or infrastructure implementation projects).
2. Drive value-based outcomes for IT strategic projects through the full project lifecycle from initial analysis to post-deployment.
3. Manage expectations of sponsors and other stakeholders through timely, well-structured communications on progress and project status.
4. Effectively manage internal delivery teams as well as 3rd parties where required.
5. Participate in developing a consolidated IT Strategy and IT Roadmap for the Global IT organization.
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and discuss opportunities for change. Embed transformation initiatives into the IT Strategy. Develop scope and impact of new strategic transformation projects to prepare decisions.
7. Provide input and support to establish good practice project guidelines and project framework, update with good practices.
8. Lead, motivate, develop, and appraise project members so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard.

Your Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science or Business Management (or equivalent and related experience).
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT as Senior IT Consultant, in an Office of a CIO, as Senior Subject Matter Expert in IT or in a related position.
3. Track record of successfully driving and delivering end-to-end strategic transformation projects within IT.
4. Broad and deep understanding in the ways-of-working of global IT organizations, their functions, capabilities and delivery models, as a result of practical experience.
5. Minimum 3 years of working experience as Project Manager in the IT sector.
6. Experience in a multi-national, multi-divisional technology and business environment, ideally in a global company.
7. Experience in successfully managing project teams and vendors across multiple geographies.
8. Excellent English, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
