C++ Developer (Computer Vision/Image Processing) for medical technology industry - Wetzlar - up to €80,000 p.a.

Are you an experienced C++ developer who is dedicated to consistently producing high-quality code? Is your goal to work on state-of-the art equipment in the medical technology field? My client produces innovative optometry and ophthalmology instruments for research institutes and health care providers around the world. They are currently looking for an addition to their image processing team at their headquarters in Wetzlar. Your role:

Working collaboratively in a team of 20 passionate developers, your main responsibility will be programming medical software with C++ for innovative image processing projects. You will be actively involved in the entire product development process, from conception to serial production. Equipped with high-tech tools, you will expand and improve our medical technology products. Additionally, you will create algorithms for data processing and analysis, as well as performing unit testing and providing documentation.

About you:

• An academic background in computer science, software development, medical technology or another related field, or an equivalent skill level gained through work experience
• Ideally, several years of professional experience with C/C++ as well as image and signal processing
• Excellent English language skills, good German would also be preferred
• A solid understanding of numerical analysis, as well as optics and electronics
• Preferably, experience with Qt, OpenCV, Python and/or Visual Basic 6
