Developer / Software Engineer

Optimus Search has partnered with a leading IT service provider specializing in healthcare solutions. With offices in multiple locations across Germany, including Wesel, Hanover, and Oldenburg , this company is part of a larger, well-established group, known for its innovative approach and strong financial stability. They have been a trusted partner in the healthcare sector for decades, processing millions of prescriptions annually for a wide range of clients in the medical and healthcare industries. They are currently looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) with expertise in VB.NET and/or VB6 to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on industry-specific software solutions that have a direct impact on healthcare operations. Your Role: Maintain and support the company’s healthcare software solutions. Ensure the smooth operation of the systems and associated processes. Conduct software testing and document the results. Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless workflows. What We’re Looking For: You have completed formal training as an IT specialist (application development) or have an IT-oriented degree. You bring solid experience in VB.NET and/or VB6 development. Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus. Experience with interface development and web services (e.g., REST APIs , C#) is beneficial. You have a structured, analytical approach to solving complex tasks. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and high self-motivation are essential. Proficiency in written and spoken German is required.
