Embedded Linux Developer or Architect - BW area - Up to €120,000 (d / m / f)
Responsibilities
Developer
- Development of product within the Embedded Linux environment
- Development and implementation of software architectures (e.g. x86) and concepts for next-gen products
- Commissioning, Testing (test concepts, test equipment set up), and software module integration
Architect
- Design, development, and maintenance of Embedded Software Architecture according to software requirements
- Technical Leadership responsibilities, supporting the embedded team in implementing architecture
- Architecture and code reviews
- Further analysis of system requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
- Obtained a degree in Computer Science or similar
- 5+ years experience working in an Embedded Linux environment, including experience with BSP, Yocto, Linux Kernel, and Device drivers
- Excellent experience in C language as well as experience in C++17/20
- Experience in architectural design, development, and requirements
- Ideally, experience in the development of radio communication systems, and consequently understanding of waveforms
- Fluency in German & English is mandatory
- Candidates must be clear of any government, defense, or security-related employment restrictions
