Embedded Security Engineer – Stuttgart, Germany

We are currently seeking an experienced Embedded Security Engineer to join a technically focused engineering team based in Stuttgart, Germany.

Role: Embedded Security Engineer

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

Salary: Up to €90,000

Language: German at B2 level or above

Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work on projects subject to applicable security and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement security solutions for embedded systems.
• Analyse embedded systems and identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Implement security measures across the embedded software lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain secure software using C/C++ and relevant embedded technologies.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modelling and risk analysis.
• Support secure boot, encryption, authentication and key management solutions.
• Perform vulnerability analysis and support the remediation of identified security issues.
• Work closely with embedded software, hardware and systems engineering teams.
• Contribute to security testing, verification and validation activities.
• Stay up to date with relevant embedded security standards, technologies and best practices.
• Produce and maintain technical and security documentation.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Security Engineer with strong commercial experience in embedded systems and cybersecurity.

You should have a good understanding of embedded security principles, secure software development and vulnerability analysis, alongside experience working within a technically complex engineering environment.

B2 German language skills are required.
