FPGA Developer - Munich area - Up to €90,000 (d / m / w)
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize FPGA-based architectures for video and image processing applications
- Bring FPGA designs into operation on target hardware platforms and ensure proper functionality
- Perform synthesis, simulation, and validation of digital designs
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Contribute to technical documentation and maintain effective communication across interfaces with software and project management, ensuring deadlines are met
- Participate in agile development processes, including planning and execution within SCRUM frameworks
Desired Skills and Experience
- Obtained a degree in Computer Science or similar
- 3+ years experience in VHDL/Verilog programming of FPGAs
- Experience in Video Processing and corresponding protocols
- In-depth familiarity with development environments such as Vivado/Vitis
- Understanding of version control practices and CI/CD workflows, particularly with Git
- Bonus: Yocto, Buildroot, Docker, GStreamer, CUDA, embedded systems
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory
- EU Nationality
