We're working exclusively with a growing electrical engineering business that has recently been acquired and is entering an exciting new phase of expansion. As part of this growth, we're looking to appoint an experienced Sales Director to lead the commercial function and drive the next stage of the company's success.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, combining 50% sales management and 50% business development.

The Role

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 5 Sales Engineers/Managers
• Drive new business growth across the German market
• Develop and execute the company's sales strategy
• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers and partners
• Identify new market opportunities and win strategic accounts
• Work closely with senior leadership to support continued business growth
• Monitor sales performance and coach the team to achieve ambitious targets

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a Sales Director, Head of Sales or Senior Sales Manager position
• Essential experience within the Switchgear industry
• Strong track record of winning new business and developing key accounts
• Previous experience leading and developing sales teams
• Commercially driven with excellent leadership skills
• Ideally based in or around Berlin
