Based in the heart of Germany, a ferociously expanding and highly innovative company is seeking a Senior Firmware Developer with expertise in Storage to join their team.

This specialist company develops world-leading controllers for a global customer base and is now building a brand-new firmware team, which will consist of storage specialists.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customise the existing firmware on flash storage, according to customer requirements
• Focus on hardware-specific firmware modules for the next generation of products
• Increase the functionality of high-spec controllers, with a focus on performance optimisation
• Design specifications and requirements
• Construct terminal tests for in-house production in tandem with the Test Department

Desired Skills and Experience

• Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a comparable subject
• Excellent programming skills in Embedded C/C++
• Understanding of Algorithmic concepts
• Professional experience in Firmware Development
• Experience working with NAND Flash controllers
• German and English fluent
