Title: Senior Planner (Pharmaceutical Expansion Project)
Positions Available: 1
Type: Contract (12 Months+)
Responsibilities
Support the planning and project controls function on a major pharmaceutical expansion programme from construction through qualification and start‑up
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, CQV and operational readiness activities
Coordinate planning inputs across multiple contractors, vendors and project workstreams
Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, constraints and mitigation opportunities
Support progress measurement, forecasting and earned value reporting activities
Drive integration between construction completion, system turnover, qualification and validation schedules
Facilitate planning workshops, pull planning sessions and programme review meetings
Produce weekly and monthly reports for project leadership and key stakeholders
Support change management activities and assess programme impacts resulting from project changes
Requirements
Extensive planning experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or highly regulated industries
Experience supporting major capital investment projects
Understanding of GMP environments and pharmaceutical project lifecycles
Experience working through commissioning, qualification and validation phases
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
