Senior System Engineer (Multiple products/domains) - BW Area - Up to €100,000 (d / m / w)

Responsibilities

• Conception, development, integration, and lifecycle management of complex military and security-critical systems, including maritime, land-based, communication, and optoelectronics applications
• Analysis and translation of operational, customer, and user requirements into structured technical system requirements and concepts
• Design and further development of robust system architectures, with focus on cybersecurity, encryption, interoperability, resilience, and networked system behaviour
• Integration of hardware and software components into coherent end-to-end systems, including coordination across electronic, software, and communication subsystems
• Planning, execution, and documentation of system verification and validation activities, including testing, trials, and error analysis
• Ensuring compliance with relevant military and industry standards throughout the entire system lifecycle
• Participation in the evaluation and integration of innovative technologies such as software-defined radio (SDR) and AI-based signal processing

Desired Skills and Experience

• Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar
• 5+ years in Systems Engineering in either of the following domains: maritime, land-based systems, radio communications, Optoelectronics
• Radio: RF/HF/VHF/UHF, SDR, DSP
• Knowledge of system architecture and military standards
• Fluency in German & English is mandatory
• Candidates must be clear of any government, defense, or security-related employment restrictions
