Senior Test Manager (m/f/d) – Permanent Employment | Large-scale IT project

For a demanding and long-term large-scale IT project , we are looking for several experienced test managers (m/f/d) to strengthen various feature teams.

In this position, you will take on central responsibility for the planning, coordination and control of all test activities within your feature team. The focus is clearly on test management, control and reporting – not on operational test execution or pure test automation.

• Creation and further development of test concepts and test plans
• Planning and coordination of all test phases
• Control of component, integration, UAT/acceptance and regression tests
• Coordination of test resources within the feature team
• Control and tracking via Jira
• Test documentation and versioning in Confluence
• Monitoring of test progress and quality gates
• Creation of test status, KPI and management reports
• Regular test progress reporting in Excel
• Preparation of weekly release readiness reports
• Communication with project management, delivery management and test management
• Identification and escalation of risks, blockers and delays
• Moderation of escalation appointments

Your profile:

• Several years of experience as a test manager, test lead or test coordinator
• Experience in complex IT projects with multiple stakeholders
• Very good knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Excel
• In-depth experience with integration, UAT and regression testing
• Experience with quality gates and release approvals
• Strong test status, KPI, and release readiness reporting
• Experience in the technical management of testers
• Strong stakeholder and escalation management
